Routes and Services

Service Areas: Cornwall Connector is dedicated to providing reliable transportation services primarily between Cornwall and Ottawa. We are responsive to customer demand and operational feasibility, which may lead to adjustments in our routes, including potential service expansions.

We ensure that all our vehicles are maintained to the highest standards and that our drivers are professionally trained to adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety regulations. Our goal is to provide a travel experience that is not only reliable but also ensures that every passenger feels secure and valued throughout their journey with us.

Scheduling and Hours of Operation

Operating Hours: Cornwall Connector operates services from Cornwall to Ottawa starting at 6:00 AM EST, with the last trip from Ottawa to Cornwall at 6:00 PM EST, Monday through Saturday. These hours are designed to accommodate a wide range of travel needs, from early morning commutes to late afternoon returns.

Shuttle Frequency: To meet our commitment to reliability and convenience, we initially offer two round trips daily between Cornwall and Ottawa. This frequency is subject to adjustment based on customer demand and operational efficiency.

Weather-Related Cancellations: The safety of our passengers and staff is our highest priority. In cases of severe weather conditions that may compromise the safety of our operations, we reserve the right to cancel services. Customers will be notified of any cancellations as promptly as possible through our website, social media channels, and direct communication methods for those with reservations.

Holidays and Special Events: Recognizing the importance of holidays and special events, we aim to maintain our service availability during these times, potentially providing additional trips to accommodate increased demand. Any changes to our regular schedule during these periods will be communicated well in advance.
Pricing and Payment

Fares: All fares are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes and changes.

Payment Methods: We accept various payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards and mobile payments. Specific details are available on our booking platform.
Booking, Reservation, and Cancellation

Advance Reservations: Customers are encouraged to book their seats up to two weeks in advance, facilitating optimal travel planning and seat allocation.

Cancellation and Rescheduling: We offer flexibility for cancellations or rescheduling without penalty up to 48 hours before the scheduled departure. For adjustments, please utilize our customer service channels or the self-service features on our website or mobile app.

Late Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled departure will incur a penalty of 10% of the booking cost. This fee is necessary to manage our scheduling efficiently and maintain availability for other passengers.

Missed Shuttle Policy: If a customer misses their scheduled shuttle, the fare paid will be non-refundable. This policy ensures fairness and helps us in maintaining a reliable and efficient service for all our customers.

Shuttle Delay Compensation: In the event of a delay exceeding 30 minutes caused by Cornwall Connector, affected customers will be eligible for a 20% refund of their fare. This clause is our commitment to punctuality and customer satisfaction.

Notification of Policy Changes: Any changes to our booking, reservation, or cancellation policies will be communicated in advance through our website, email notifications, and direct communication for those with active bookings.

Passenger Responsibility: While we take every measure to ensure a safe travel environment, passengers also play a crucial role in maintaining safety. We ask all passengers to follow safety instructions provided by our drivers and signage within the vehicles, including the use of any safety features available.

Liability and Limitations

Limitation of Liability: Cornwall Connector shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses (even if Cornwall Connector has been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from:

The use or the inability to use the service;

The cost of procurement of substitute goods and services resulting from any goods, data, information, or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through or from the service;

Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data;

Statements or conduct of any third party on the service;

Any other matter relating to the service.

Force Majeure: Cornwall Connector is not liable for failures to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of nature, acts of government, flood, fire, earthquakes, severe snow storm, civil unrest, acts of terror, strikes or other labour problems (excluding those involving Cornwall Connector employees), service disruptions involving hardware, software, or power systems not within Cornwall Connector's possession or reasonable control, and denial of service attacks.

Claims: Any claims against Cornwall Connector must be brought within one (1) year after the cause of action arises, or such claim or cause of action is barred. Claims made under the separate terms and conditions of purchase for goods and services are not subject to this limitation.

Indemnity: You agree to indemnify and hold Cornwall Connector, its officers, directors, shareholders, predecessors, successors in interest, employees, agents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, harmless from any demands, loss, liability, claims or expenses (including attorneys’ fees), made against Cornwall Connector by any third party due to or arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.

Disclaimer of Warranties: Cornwall Connector does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and there may be delays, omissions, interruptions, and inaccuracies in the content or other materials available through the service. Cornwall Connector is not responsible for the availability or content of other services that may be linked to our service.
